Filk Song

I arrived in NYC after a very long, very delayed bus ride, yesterday night.  I wanted to get some productive work done on the trip, maybe get working on Belittled or go over some things I needed to focus on for SizeCon, but my brain wasn't having any of that.  What I ended up doing was writing a filk song.  I guess every Con deserves a filk song, no matter how crappy.  For those of you attending SizeCon, I'm looking forward to meeting you in a few hours.

"SizeCon" (sung to the tune "Graceland" by Paul Simon)
The Empire State was shining
Like a kaiju drug store
I am following the media
Watched the trailer
Of Ant Man in the Civil War

I'm growing to SizeCon
SizeCon
In New York City
I'm growing to SizeCon
Tinies and giants with fetishes
And we are growing to SizeCon
My traveling companion is Scott Carey
He is the product of radiation
But I've reason to believe
He'll barely be perceived
At SizeCon

She comes back to tell me I'm small
As if I didn't know that
As if I didn't know my own height
As if I'd never noticed
The way she grew her body high as a kite
And they say changing size
Is just the latest form of kink
Everybody seems to want to shrink
Except for those who want to grow.

I'm growing to SizeCon
New York City
I'm growing to SizeCon
Tinies and Giants with fetishes
And we are growing to SizeCon

And my traveling companions
Are vores and tiny victims
I'm looking at vores and tinies
But I've reason to believe
A lot will be achieved
At SizeCon

There is a kaiju in New York City
Who calls herself the human vacuum cleaner
And sometimes when I'm shrinking, falling
Or fighting giant spiders I say
Oh, so this is what she means
She means we're shrinking into SizeCon

And they say changing size
Is just the latest form of kink
Everybody seems to want to shrink
Except for those who want to grow.

At SizeCon, at SizeCon
I'm growing to SizeCon

For reasons I cannot explain
There's some part of me wants to see
SizeCon
And I may be obliged to defend
Every size, every ending
Or maybe there's no condemnation now
Maybe I've a reason to believe
We all will be received
At SizeCon
